For the Polaroid film:
1) I looked for a camping photo online (c/o Pinterest) since it is part of the theme of the wedding. I asked my graphic designer friend (Tessa Lerbekmo-Joyes of Standout Publications) to actually put a chocolate lab in the picture to represent our dog, Emma.
2) I edited, customized and resized it to look like a real Polaroid film.

For the Polaroid camera:
1) I looked for a polaroid camera photo online (c/o Pinterest), edited, resized it and then printed it.
2) I used a paper cutter (mine is Fiskars Personal Paper Trimmer but you can find more options at Michael's) to cut the portion wherein the film is supposed to come out.

For the envelope and label stickers:
1) I dissected an envelope to use it as a format for my envelope made out of kraft paper (you can buy it at Michael's or Walmart).
2) I used an electronic labeller (mine is Brother PT-90 but you can find different styles at Staples) to make the label stickers.

You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars for your Save the Date.
You just need a little vision, time and sense of creativity!
And you also need some sort of inspiration, I got inspired by THESE.

Promise to take more photos next time and a step-by-step one
