LAST DAY OF FASHION WEEK!!!! After 5 loooong days of dressing up like a mad crazy woman going straight from work to Fashion Week with just barely 30 minutes to prepare, it is finally ending...that's how I felt like last Saturday. However, last Saturday was actually the only day during Fashion Week that I was able to sleep in and not rush. A whole lot of thanks to Smashbox and Bourgois-Paris make-up team again, who took 15 minutes off of my regular routine because I didn't have to bother doing my own make-up (not as if I do a lot or know a lot about putting make-up on my face though).
I decided to use my new Aldo geeky glasses for the first time. It's just hard for me to find glasses or sunnies because of my cheekbones and these geeky glasses are just perfect! Who knew I could pull off geeky (Sexy geeky though cos I was rocking hot red lips!)? :)
Armani blazer. Old Navy romper. Ardene OTK socks. F21 wedge booties. H&M sling bag. Aldo glasses. SM necklace.

The show started off with a bang with D.W. showcasing his funky and original recycled pieces. I liked when he said that everyday he looks at his closet and thinks, "Hmmm...what can I do today?" I totally see myself in him (although a less creative version, for sure) because back when I was still in the Philippines, I would do a lot of DIY pieces from my own wardrobe too. One of his jackets that has studs on it is very similar to what I did before to one of my shorts and I just know that those aren't really studs but fasteners. I personally loved the painted jeans too and those statement shirts that said, "YOU HATED ME IN HIGHSCHOOL BUT NOW I'M FUCKING FABULOUS" and "I CAN'T PAY MY RENT BUT I'M FUCKING GORGEOUS". D.W. is such a talent young mind that has a lot of potential and I am sure that as he wished, Anna Wintour would be in one of his shows in the near future.
The next show was my favorite runway show out of all--Mackenzie Jones. Sure, the clothes aren't everyday wearable clothes but her runway show just blew me away. I felt like I was taken into a mystical land of just beautiful immortal people. It was very dramatic and cinematic. When I was editing and looking back at the photos I took of AFW, it just hit me--I want MJ's collection for my pre-nup. If you want to go all editorial, you gotta have Mackenzie Jones do it.
The last show was from a lovely boutique called Crapabble Clothing. Definitely a lot of girly and everyday wearable pieces. Their store started in the 90s where they showcased vintage pieces but they've been trying to recreate and evolve their look to more modern items so be sure to check it out.

THAT IS DEFINITELY A WRAP!!!! And there is no better way of ending a fantastic stylish week but by dancing, drinking and partying the night away with fab people at the after-party at Olives. Thank you so much again to Mike Addams of http://www.livecosmo.com :)
and to that bartender who bought me a drink, whoever you are ;)
See you again this fall, fashionistas!
