IF I'M GOING TO THE HAMPTONS...

...I would definitely wear this outfit. When my photographer/friend, Chris Renaud asked me what my outfit was, I told him that I am wearing a maxi dress + blazer + floppy hat like I am off to the Hamptons. I wish there was a more beachy place to go to but alas, all Calgary can offer was a lake but I think it was the perfect spot! This is just one of the 3 sets of photo Chris took of me so stay tuned for more :)

Speaking of the Hamptons, the long weekend would have been nice if I can just fly out there on a whim but for the first time in years, I was actually in the city for holy week. Ash and I went to yoga+sauna+massage+dinner at Moxie's last Thursday night to just release all the tension from the work week that passed. Friday morning was spent at the gym and the grocery store. Saturday was the perfect day for the April Market Collective (Bicycle Theme) which was awesome beyond words. My boss would always call me an artist but after going to the Collective, I am sure that I am no artist AT ALL compared to these "real" artists. The weather was so nice last Saturday that I was actually able to go out with open-toed sandals and a maxi dress with NO jacket. Twas sweet to be able to actually drink wine+cheese by the patio with someone interesting to talk with. Sunday was still sunny and I went to church for Easter Sunday after months of not being able to because of the shitty Calgary weather. I napped and just went I thought it would be a lazy Sunday at home, I was dragged by a new friend from Sask for some vodka 7 at Ship's patio.

Twas a pretty sweet weekend and to top it all off, I got this sweet surprise. I guess life really has a funny way of surprising us when we least expect it, hey? :)

How was your Easter weekend, lovelies?

beso ♥
