“To me,  McQueen represented the drama of fashion
He represented the conflict and harmony of being a craftsman and an artist
Savile Row training, runway dreaming.
Scott Schuman, The Sartorialist

I'll always remember Alexander McQueen for his skull scarves and today, i'll be wearing mine. As SJP would say, "Every single inspired, original, lofty, whimsical, stunning, brilliant and jaw dropping detail was Alexander McQueen."

 R.I.P Alexander McQueen
17 March 1969 - 11 February 2010

i love chanel but i didn't like what karl lagerfield said about his death. he said,
"I found his work very interesting and never banal. There was always some attraction to death, his designs were sometimes dehumanized. Who knows, perhaps after flirting with death too often, death attracts you."
am i being OA or is that comment fucked up?
