Well, hello, Spring! I would like to think that Spring has finally sprung (in Calgary though, you should never trust the weather...and men!) which only means bye Canada Goose Jacket, hello cute Spring dresses and lots of shorts! It was a tad windy when we shot this so you can only imagine how I tried my best not to flash people! This lovely blue dress came all the way from the Philippines (thanks to my friend, Abby) and like any other Asian dresses, it is a bit short for my non-Asian height (on regular days, I'd prolly wear this dress with Chuck Taylor sneaks instead). It was the perfect little dress though to accessorize my very boho Golden Leaf head piece from Adorn. Speaking of warm weather, I am off to do some soaking up at the park so till the next post ~

SPORTY SPICE

Jacket: Zara, Top: F21, Shorts: c/o Joe Fresh, Sneakers: Converse, Cap: Nike, Watch: Swatch, Sunnies: Ray Ban, Bracelet: c/o Karolina's Style, Ring: H&M, Necklace: c/o My Name Necklace, Lips: MAC Lady Danger, Nails: Essie

My life now consists of work, going to the gym and running. As you have recalled, almost a year ago, I had open heart surgery and couldn't even lift more than 5 pounds for a while; more so, work out. So a month ago, I decided that it is about time to hit the gym. I signed up for a gym membership, committed myself to a trainer who I meet twice a week and I started to appreciate the joys of running. My goal: to be able to do the things I was able to do before and lets face it, to be able to shed off the unwanted weight and flabbiness that I've developed while I was recovering. I do Zumba Mondays, Yoga Tuesdays, Training Wednesdays/Thursdays and Running Fridays. Thus this outfit is quite what I normally wear (besides the usual yoga pants + dri fit shirts) and most comfortable in these days: a graphic muscle tee, leather-effect running shorts, "Juventus" cap for running and a sporty watch. Of course, sans the quilted faux leather jacket (I obviously wear a hoodie when working out) and runners instead of Converse.
